This differentiated, done-for-you lesson is great for distance or blended learning, as well as in class. It’s great for English language learners and students with special needs. Everything except for the last activity is self-graded.

Students read a passage and then answer a question. If they answer a question incorrectly they are guided to a re-teaching page, or moved onto the next question if they’re correct. The final slide is a written assessment to check for understanding.

This is a Google Slides activity created for Google Classroom. I also include printable task cards of each activity if you want a hard copy.

An answer key is provided.

There are 3 "task Card" type activities with reading passages about U.S. geography, topographical regions, waterways, natural resources. The final slide is a written assessment to check for understanding.
