This lesson is perfect to give your students a quick overview of the layout of the U.S. Constitution. What is the purpose of each section/article? How many articles are there? etc. I use this lesson BEFORE I dig deeper into each individual section.
In this lesson your students will:
1) Take notes on their graphic organizer while the FULL COLOR power-point is being displayed.
2) Watch a short public access video to reinforce their understanding of the layout of the Constitution.
3) Use a mnemonic "silly sentence" to help them remember each section/article of the Constitution.
All worksheets, links and 9 slide power-point included.
