This is an activity I have used with both my regular and honors level U.S. History students for lesson, unit, or course review.
I have included two versions of each handout, one horizontal and one vertical. The handouts are simple because students will add content, pictures and explanations. These activities have come in handy on several occasions when doing some last minute planning.
You can have all of your students do the same acrostic or have each student pick a different topic. Either way this is a fun activity that engages students, allowing them to express creativity and work on their literacy skills.
This activity can be used for any grade level!!!
This packet contains ready-to-print handouts for the colonial period through the Revolutionary War. I have included a blank page at the end of the packet just in case you have another term that you would like to add to this assignment.
