This is a set of Guided Notes that goes hand in hand with the detailed and informative PowerPoint of the same title.
The presentation and these notes cover the events in the world post-World War II. One of those events is the beginning of the Cold War between the United States and its allies and the Soviet Union and its allies.
Some of the subjects in this one: the reasons for the Cold War, definition of what a "cold" war is, ideologies, NATO, the Warsaw Pact, the Truman Doctrine, the Marshall Plan, the Iron Curtain, the Berlin Airlift, and the nuclear arms race. There are also two blank map activities.
The notes have blanks for key words. Those words are found only in the PowerPoint of the same title.
