This 60- minute lesson will help students in building their background knowledge the Bill of Rights.
At the end of this lesson, students are expected to answer the following questions:
o What were the arguments made by the Federalists and Anti-Federalists for and against ratification of Constitution?
o Why was the Bill of Rights added to the Constitution?
o What are the major themes of the Bill of Rights?
Students will be required to complete an Internet-based worksheet known as a webquest. The Bill of Rights webquest will use an awesome virtual museum. Students will be challenged to research, review, and demonstrate their understanding of key information and events related to the Bill of Rights.
