They will show what they know by completing engaging in classroom activity that will require them to use their high order thinking skills.The activity will require students to complete an individual activity titled "Generating Questions". This lesson also features both a lesson extension, closing activity, and project ideas.

What were the key factors that led to the introduction and growth of slavery in the original thirteen colonies?

What were some of the hardships faced by slaved brought to the new colonies?
