US History, Mid 1800s-WWII was created by me, a parent, for my homeschooled ADHD child. I looked extensively for a history product for him and nothing worked to generate his interest and hold his attention. Everything was either way too easy or way too hard for him to comprehend. There was no in-between for a middle-school level. So, I created my own. This book is geared specifically for the middle school mind. The chapters are created for just the perfect amount of reading for a middle school student, and not too many review questions to overwhelm them, but also encourage free-thinking.
The product is designed to last for 1 school year (36 weeks) with lots of room for supplementation if desired. There is especially plenty of room for supplementation during the Holocaust chapters. All sources are cited. I created a teachers guide for the review questions as well.
This is book 2, there are more to follow. This goes from the mid-1800s (the relocation of Native American Indians to reservations) to the mid 1900s (WWII and the Holocaust). Book 3 picks up during the Wars in Europe and Africa and D-Day.
