This lesson is designed to last for an hour of class time or longer. Students will be provided with background information about the Arab/Israel conflict. They will show what they know by completing engaging classroom activities and answering various depths of knowledge of questions related to the lesson.
This lesson will challenge will require students to participate in both a guided practice activity and class activity. The Guided practice will require students to review an article and use a graphic organizer to document their understanding. The class activity will require students to use a map and put their skills to the test.
At the end of this lesson, students are expected to answer the following questions:
● Explain the political, economical, and foreign relationships of Palestine and Israel.
● Discuss how conflicts have affected Palestine and Israel.
