Product Description
This lesson is designed to last for an hour of class time or longer. Students will be provided with background information about The New England Colonies. They will show what they know by completing engaging classroom activities and answering various depths of knowledge of questions related to the lesson.

At the end of this lesson, students are expected to answer the following:

o Who were the Puritans and what did they believe?
o Who were the Pilgrims in Plymouth and what did they believe?
o How were Puritans and Pilgrims the same and how were they different?
o How did these groups impact each other and how did they impact the time period?

This lesson will challenge students to show what they know by breaking up into small groups and create a presentation related to the New England Colonies. Once their presentation has been created they will be given the opportunity to present. This lesson features a warm-up, detailed directions, and handouts.
