US History/APUSH Final Project w/Example
Share

Description

This is a short project intended for the end of the year in a U.S. History or A.P. U.S. History class. This bundle includes the instructions and an example presentation

The main goal of this project is for students to actively engage with history that interests them. Students research a topic, create slides, create a presentation or video (optional for online learning) and teach their topic to their peers. The project is designed for an advanced AP course, but all students should be able to complete this given ample time and appropriate supports. It is also designed to be a multi-step process in which students turn in citations, then a few slides at a time, then the final product. It is highly recommended to give feedback to students after they turn in each step. This project is also a great way to teach research, proper citation, public speaking, and other important skills.
