*Important Vocabulary Cards-Use these cards to pre-teach important vocabulary from the nonfiction passage.
*Nonfiction Passage-Depending on the level of your students either read the passage aloud to your students or have them read the passage themselves.
*Comprehension Questions-Depending on the level of your students either allow them to answer the open ended comprehension questions or answer the multiple choice comprehension questions.
*Graphic Organizer-Use this graphic organizer to help your students plan a 5 sentence paragraph. Allow them to use the nonfiction passage or research independently to fill in the graphic organizer.
*Write a Paragraph-Use the included page for your children to write a 5 sentence paragraph based off of the graphic organizer they completed.
