Description

In this US Landmarks Research and Travel Unit, students research and visit a historic/famous landmark in the United States. They will travel to the state of the landmark, stay in a hotel and pay for the cost of meals. Students research their favorite landmarks, use math skills, and learn about these important places in the US.

This PBL unit incorporates 21st Century skills with challenging, engaging, and creative activities. There are lots of opportunities for differentiation. Activities go along with your nonfiction book study.

TEACHERS LIKE YOU HAVE SAID...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Absolutely amazing resource! My higher-level third graders had a BLAST working on this project last year!"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I love this project. I used it for my 4th Grade Enrichment Math RTI kids, and it has been very challenging for them. I have had to slow down a lot to walk them through step by step on several of the early pages. They are learning that it is very hard (and expensive!) to plan a vacation! Ha! :) Thank you!!"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Students had a blast learning about the country they live in and more specifically it had them thinking about traveling and/or visiting another part of the U.S. I felt that my 3rd graders struggled to fill in all the material. Definitely geared towards 4th and 5th graders."
