The following practice sheets provide the opportunity to practice latitude and longitude using a U.S. map and a World Map.
The first two worksheets provide students latitude and longitude practice using the United States Map. Questions provide students with coordinate points and they write down the state where those points meet. There are also questions that ask students to find cities and states and write down the latitude and longitude.
The third worksheet offers practice using the same skill on a world map, and students need to find the continent and country on a world map.
Teachers may use any version of their own political maps with latitude and longitude lines for use with the activities.
Answer keys are provided for all three latitude and longitude activities. If grading or scoring the sheets, I always give students a 2 degree leeway for questions that ask them to write the latitude and longitude numbers.
