I've included ten words considered important to know when teaching about the social studies of the United States. These are the words that are going to keep coming up when you are teaching material to your students. Now, you can make this easy by doing it as is, or you can add a little difficulty to it like I do. Have the kids turn the paper over and draw a picture to go with each word and definition to really make sure they have a grasp of what the word means. This is a quick and easy way to expose them to their vocabulary words, and it can be done with a substitute.
