Product Description
Are you studying US symbols, monuments, or memorials? Maybe you are looking to review some important vocabulary or take a look at some government buildings and monuments in the US, with many being in Washington, DC. Your students will enjoy this fun word search!

In this word search puzzle, words are found forward, backward, up, down, and diagonally. I would consider it on the challenging side since students are looking for words in all directions, and the monuments may be more suitable for upper elementary, such as the WWI or Korean War Memorial.

I use word searches to introduce vocabulary, or even just give it as morning work. They are also great to glue in writing notebooks for future writing topics. They are perfect for early finishers. Perfect for a sub, too. How about homework or even to trigger their memory before state testing or a unit test? Use this "US Symbols, Monuments, and Memorials" word search however you would like in your classroom.
