USA Symbols Math Activities
1. Spinner Game is played with a partner or in a small group. To play, children share the spinner but need their own recording sheets. Taking turns, each player spins the spinner 20 times, and writes a tally mark next to the USA symbol that matches where their spinner lands. They keep track by crossing out a number on the number line each time they spin.
2. Favorite USA Survey is a fun activity for children to do if they complete their work early, as part of a math station activity, or in a math tub during choice time. It is simply a survey children use to find out their classmates' favorite USA symbol. While graphing results, children will review vocabulary each time they ask a friend.
