The “Using Adjectives to Describe the Character in Spanish” helps your students to learn vocabulary and to expand their language acquisition by being able to describe a person or a thing using adjectives that are descriptive. It’s a building vocabulary strategy that has proven to work with my students as well.
As you know, most of the time, students come to us just knowing a few descriptive adjectives that limit their ability to write and express themselves. This package contains about 90 descriptive adjectives that they can use to write about the story, describe the characters and the different situations that take place in the story. It’s going to impact your students to learn different words in Spanish to help them write better and understand more efficiently what they are reading.
I have included two figures with this package. One is for the student and the other is for whatever character, family member, or author he wants to describe. Have students write their adjectives on the figure, cut and paste on construction paper. Great for bulletin board and/or interactive notebooks.
