Don't download! There are some issues that I really wasn't conscious of.

I will fix them at some point in the foreseeable future:

I wanted to check whether this is the whole product? I see I am the first to download so perhaps you are experimenting and this isn't the final product? a) It doesn't explain how the 'game' is played, b) you haven't included answers to the questions (I am Australian and I don't know all the answers), c) you say students can use it to have a cultural discussion but there is no cultural information included, d) there is no fun way to discuss a dingo taking a baby and a mother losing many years of her life in jail. I think the idea of it is good, but in its current state I wouldn't know how to use it. Lastly - I don't think it's legally OK to use a Disney graphic in your work. Oh - and the sound links didn't work for me.

Thanks! Good things to look at.

a) I thought most people would be familiar with the concept of this game (Bomb game format)? But I can easily add the information.
b) Answers are easily added (I have a prezi which has all of the answers but it's really a lesson in itself). Again, answers are easily added so I can do that.
c) The cultural information is easy to extrapolate from students e.g. Give me 3 facts about Boomerangs (before you can click on that square)
d) You're right, this is one sobering element, however the story gives quite a lot of insight into Australian values, legal system etc e.g. she looked 'well presented' not because she was 'showy or wealthy' but because she made her own clothes, and was talented
e) I will exchange a regular clown fish for Nemo
f) I don't know how to make the sound clips work as once I embed them the file becomes huge

Thanks for all of your insight, comments (and suggestions.....).

If you want to fix these yourself feel free, however I will do it... eventually.

An interactive introduction to Australian slang, products, greetings etc. An easy and interesting way to talk about the many facets of Australia - the Sydney Opera House, 'the Dingo stole my baby', our Indigenous culture, and of course our iconic Ugg boots.

Great for use in an ESL classroom setting, an end of term game, or for revision.

If you're discussing different cultures, this can also be used to compare and contrast words, thoughts, and feelings about Australia.

You can easily turn this into a timed game, with 2 to 3 teams.
