Product Description

This lesson will introduce a basic understanding of the economic and environmental impact of food waste by showing students that “ugly” looking fruits and vegetables taste just as good as “perfect” looking ones. This will be accomplished through a blind taste test of an apple.

This activity is designed for young, school-aged kids (preschool/kindergarten/first grade) and to be implemented in a classroom setting. However, this lesson is not limited to inside the classroom and  can be performed in almost any teaching environment.
