I print these on cardstock and laminate them for repeated use throughout the school year. In the General Music Classroom, I introduce chords one at a time using these posters. As they are introduced, I then post them somewhere in the room for quick reference from lesson to lesson. Since I often only see students once per week, it is helpful for them to have a reminder as we progress through the unit. The posters are usually stuck to my magnetic white board in the front of the room so that I can rearrange them into chord progressions as students become more advanced. We practice a progression and then we may learn several songs and strumming patterns with it before moving to a new chord or progression in the unit.
