Ukulele School - C Major Scale Tutorial

Welcome to Ukulele School!
Today we will play C major scale on the ukulele in 3 minutes!

C major scale has no flat notes and no sharp notes. All notes in the C major scale are natural.

The notes in the C major scale are

C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C'

In order to play this scale with proper form, you will need fingers 1, 2, and 3.

Finger 1 - Index finger
Finger 2 - Middle finger
Finger 3 - Ring finger

In general, we will use the index finger anytime we play notes on the first fret.
We will use the middle finger when we play notes on the second fret.
And we will use the ring finger for notes on played on the third fret.

Practice this scale until you can play it without looking at your hands. The back of the ukulele should be touching your chest/belly area.

Remember to have fun and play with passion.
