Using songtale picture books and ukuleles to prepare upper elementary students to share beloved songs and stories with primary students. Upper elementary students with basic ukulele skills and a few memorized chords will form small groups, divide responsibilities, work together, rehearse, and perform a songtale using a picture book. They will share their performances with multiple groups of students to strengthen the sense of community in the school, build confidence, and create a thirst for sharing musical experiences and performances with one another.
