This is a differentiated writing activity that gives your students the opportunity to show what they have learned in a unit on food. There is a check list page, vocabulary page, restaurant vocabulary page, brainstorming page, and 2 options for writing the review.
Students choose a restaurant to review and write descriptions about the food, staff, environment and overall dining experience. Students give a rating out of 4 stars in their writing and use adjectives to describe the four categories.
Students could write about a previous dining experience or a new dining experience, use a local restaurant menu or an authentic Mexican restaurant menu, or an online reference.
