This TPRS-style lesson is best used AFTER students are familiar with both the preterite and imperfect tenses, but BEFORE they have explicitly learned/grasped the uses of these two tenses to describe a situation/story in the past. The materials are designed to support a teacher in utilizing TPRS-style techniques that provide for a great amount of input for students, while also allowing them to take part in creating this class story. This lesson is designed to fill a 50-60 minute class period.
