These fill-in-the-blank notes and independent practice worksheet will help students to be able to describe the change in motion that an unbalanced force causes. This is just the basics.
It starts out simple, showing a force put on a moving object. Depending on the direction the object is moving and the direction the force in is, the student will have to determine if the object will speed up, slow down, or change direction. Advancing, the student will have to analyze more than one force on a moving object to calculate the speed and direction of the net force, then determine the change i motion it will produce.
This activity is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge And Skills (TEKS) 6.8B: identify and describe the changes in position, direction, and speed of an object when acted upon by unbalanced forces;
Included in the purchase is 2-page fill-in-the-blank notes with examples, and a 1-page independent practice worksheet. Keys of both the notes and the worksheet are included.
