PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a great story elements packet that is common core aligned and perfect to help your kids understand the story elements. This packet is a wonderful way to help yours students organize their observations of the story they read. I've included color AND black and white copies of almost every page. I use this packet all of the time with my students and it REALLY helps them understand how to interpret the story and be able to verbalize it!

It includes:
- a story map with characters, setting, problem, solution and theme. The story map is a wonderful outline to help your students organize their observations about the story they've read. It will do wonders for the children's understanding of the key points in the story. The story map can also be useful in an assessment for understanding the story. I've added a map without the theme if you don't want to include it in your lesson.
