Description
April is National Poetry Month and this ocean themed poetry unit is perfect to get your kiddos creating their own poems. I have created pages for 10 different types of poetry with instruction cards for each.

2. alphabet
3. autobiographical
4. color
5. ballad
6. cinquain
7. diamante
8. exploration
9. haiki
10. lies--yes I know we normally do NOT encourage this but what a great way to spin those "whopper of a tale" stories into an awesome poem??
