Underground Railroad Slavery Simulation Game. This interactive Underground Railroad slavery simulation activity will find your students playing the role of slaves on a southern plantation in the 1800’s. Students will try to escape to freedom via the Underground Railroad. Students will work in groups and will roll a die as they attempt to reach the “Promised Land”. Groups will respond to quotes and answer questions about facts and vocabulary.

This resource provides students with an interactive experience for what it was like to try and escape to freedom as a slave in the 1800s. Students begin their journey in the South and work as a team to go through various challenges to progress to the North. Students will read famous quotes of the time period, learn about statistics and facts, understand key vocabulary and so much more. This is way better than a textbook!!!
Students will be actively involved and each member has a specific job that he/she has to do in the process. Watch your students have a blast while trying to make it to the "Promised Land" before they can be caught.
