PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This game is perfect for students to need to work on understanding emotions. Angry, sad, happy, and scared are all targeted in this packet.

This download includes visual posters describing each emotion, cards with specific scenarios in which a student may experience an emotion along with two visual choices for answers, and an open-ended game board featuring a happy sun and a sad cloud.

The download features a section with a boys face and a section with a girls face making this activity appropriate for all students.

Instructions are simple. Explain each emotion to the student, use the open-ended game board for motivation, and have the student select and read (or have read to them) 1-2 cards per turn.

Note:
I work in a rural area featuring a mostly Caucasian population, so many of my activities feature Caucasian students as I use all of my activities with my own students. I am open and willing to creating this same activity featuring African American students if there would be buyers interested. Please send me an email or ask me (using the Q and A section on this activity) to create this activity featuring a different race if desired. Thanks!
