This can be used as a station activity. Station 1: Students will play fraction memory to compare the fraction to it's picture. Station 2: Students will draw their own representation of fractions and come up with the fraction from a picture. Station 3: Fractions in a bag, students will use the shapes in a bag and complete the worksheet to represent certain fractions and/ratios, comparisons of 2 objects.
These can all be used in 1 day with 10 minutes in each station. Or they can be used separately each day. 3rd grade can use when first learning about fractions. 6th, and 7th grade can use it as a refresher before going into ratios.
I am using it for my 7th grade 15:1:1 special education class before I continue into ratios.
