These two pages may be used to help introduce students to the genre fantasy. Students who are familiar with the genre may also use these pages as reinforcement.
The first page defines the genre and provides an overview of its characteristics. It is designed to be used after reading one or two chapters in a story. The second page, designed to be used toward the end of the story, provides space for students to apply the characteristics of fantasy specifically to the story they are reading.
These particular pages are generic in order to be used with any fantasy story.
