This is a "Medication Labels" unit that teaches secondary life skills students with disabilities to understand medication packages and labels. This 13 page unit starts with reading comprehension activities and follows with 7 additional printable activities to use within the classroom, home, and during community outings to pharmacies. All printable are at least a 14 font.
Activities are based on understanding information on both prescription and over-the-counter medication. Students will learn to locate and read information on medication labels including pharmacy information, uses, directions, warnings, and side effects.
There are 2 pages of activity directions and answer keys and 11 printable student pages. This unit lasts about 2 weeks depending on students' levels.
