PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This experiment sheet can be used to help students understand qualitative and quantitative data, by observing a clementine, taking data and then peeling it for more data. The quantitative data would be the weight, as you weigh the whole clementine and the parts separately on a digital scale. The qualitative data would be the observations that you see, smell, feel.. (color, texture). This worksheet goes directly with the NCscos Standard: 5.P.2.2 Compare the weight of an object to the sum of the weight of its parts before and after an interaction.

The interaction is the peeling of the clementine. Cute activity.
