In this simple exercise, students must use one key signature to determine both the major key and its relative minor key. The tables provide a highly visual way to understand the relationship between the major and minor scales. Also, the first table is completely filled in, and each corresponding table is progressively "more blank". This approach allows even struggling students to better understand! If used as a teacher-guided activity, this printable is a great way to teach the concept. It can be used as a quick quiz as well. Perfect for composition and music theory classes. An answer key is included.
