This presentation is designed to be your minilesson for teaching your class to understand rhythm. The lesson contains 25 slides, as well as an exit slip that can be used to assess your students understanding of this reading skill.

The presentation teaches strategies to help students recognize rhyme in all of it's forms. The presentation contains the text to the poems Humpty Dumpty and Old Mother Hubbard. It uses both poems to help students practice identifying the rhythm in poems.
