This Understanding Triggers Emotional Regulation Lesson will help students to identify triggers that can cause them to "pop". As students understand what triggers emotional responses in their bodies, they can learn to use coping strategies that can help them relax. While coping strategies are not discussed in this lesson, this is the first step in identifying problem situations and if the trigger is a little, medium or big trigger.
This lesson may be a perfect companion for many emotional regulation curricula that are on the market.
