PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this interactive Smartboard lesson, students will learn about textual evidence. With notes, scenarios, group discussions, and individual work, students will gain valuable information as they go through each slide that models and instructs. The first few slides go over what is evidence (with a list of examples), strong and valid evidence (models), and then through the process of finding textual evidence. Along with tips for finding evidence, students will see models in both fiction and nonfiction material. The last slide can be downloaded as a document for students to use as a model text in notebooks. This is a great lesson to introduce or reinforce using textual evidence in writing.
