Want to help your students prepare for the SAT by knowing what to expect?
Let's face it--not all of our students are enrolled in SAT prep classes, nor can we fully prepare them in our own ELA classes, but due to the newness of the test, let's help them get a head start.
I tutor for the new SAT (and ACT), and created these handouts for my students to give them a "boost" and a better understanding of what to expect as they prepare.
Note: There are no sample tests or questions. This resource simply provides guidelines for each section (ELA only, not Math), types of questions that the test focuses on, and some helpful hints and tips to prepare for the test.
****I've recently updated the product to reflect strategies for some of the different passage types as well as the SAT essay
