Sometimes it can be hard to read between the lines and figure out exactly what it is the common core / essential standards are asking us to teach. The standards could refer to so much about a particular topic – so figuring out what DOES and DOES NOT actually need to be taught can be a bit frustrating and challenging – especially for those of us unfamiliar with them whether it be due to being a beginning teacher or switching to a new grade level we’ve not taught.
This product is aimed toward making 4th grade science EASIER to teach. It picks apart the science standards so that it is very clear what needs to be taught (and what you think may be important for that test but really isn’t).
