Product Description

This activity is great after students have finished reading the play. Students will use media to understand the concept of tragedy, and then through defining the archetypes of "tragic hero" and "villain," they will be able to analyze how The Crucible, John Proctor, and Abigail Williams fit into this definition. The culmination of the activity is an analysis essay where they are able to show their findings.

You will receive:

  • a PowerPoint to aid in instruction
  • a graphic organizer for students
