HOW I USE THIS RESOURCE:
These simple stories, provided in both color and black and white versions, are meant to serve as a mechanism for additional modeling and discussion of various emotions with school-age children to improve social-emotional development as well as social-pragmatic skills. Students listen to the story being read while looking at the picture(s) on each page. After the story is read, have a discussion with the student(s) about various feelings and emotions depicted in the story, as well as what to do when tricky emotions arise such as anger, frustration, nervousness, etc.
