This cute unicorn rhythm bulletin board is great for reinforcing rhythms in the music classroom and would look nice on the board around Valentine's Day. Students have to find the rare "unicorn" rhythm by finding the rhythm that does not have a match.
I use quarter notes, beamed 8th notes, quarter rests, and half notes. If you use stick notation or would like to include more notes, I've included blank clouds and shooting stars for you to write your own patterns. You could even write melodic patterns or vocabulary words and their definitions.
Cut the shapes out (while watching tv), laminate and staple them to your board. :)
