Real-world contexts include population, population density, National Debt and Deficit, GDP, inflation and the CPI, misleading uses of percentages, and more.

Each lesson is intended to take one to three 45-minute class periods for notes and another class period for any optional activities. Five optional activities, two quizzes, a chapter review, a chapter test, and answer keys for the notes, assignments, and assessments are included in the full unit.
