This is a leveled assessment for the second standard in the second unit of my Geometry course.

This quiz matches the proficiency scale also available on my site.

Prove theorems about lines and angles. Theorems include: vertical angles are congruent; when a transversal crosses parallel lines, alternate interior angles are congruent and corresponding angles are congruent; points on a perpendicular bisector of a line segment are exactly those equidistant from the segment’s endpoints. (G- CO.C.9)

To show that they are at a Level 3 students must:
*construct a viable argument to justify how he/she is applying the segment/angle addition postulate.
*prove why vertical angles have to be congruent.
