Description
This worksheet/mini-project is designed to have students write code to create and utilize instances of a class. The activity incorporates static classes, private data fields, void and non-void methods, and many of the skills utilized within units 1 and 2 of the AP Computer Science A curriculum. Students can complete the code by hand or in an IDE.
Can be completed individually or with a partner. Answer key included. Includes ideas for quick alternatives to either increase the difficulty, include challenges, or potentially complete this activity in Unit 5 - Writing Classes.
