This bundle includes a powerpoint, activities, project, review sheet, etc. No test again, but it's okay, the students won't have a problem with that ;) Pop quiz it up if you have to.
The powerpoint is great. It's all divided up into lessons within the powerpoint making it neatly organized and easy to differentiate topics. There's several quick activities built into the powerpoint that you can have students do to check comprehension whenever you'd like... or you can simply pass over them and you look like a really nice guy ;) There are graphics, quotes, video links, critical thinking questions, etc. The topics covered include: The six guiding principles of the Constitution (Popular Sovereignty, Limited Gov., Individual Rights, Federalism, Separation of Powers/Checks and Balances, and an Independent Judiciary.) It also hits on expressed, concurrent and reserved powers, and how the Constitution is amended both formally and informally.
The activities align with these topics and the project sees the students creating their own Constitution (basically how the world would be governed if they could create the fundamentals of that government). It's a fun activity that kids really enjoy, and there is a rubric included.
