This document includes 6 stations with 2 energy calculation questions each. The pages can be stapled to a manila folder and propped up. The answer page goes under the question page for students to check their answers. Have students use whiteboards to answer each question to add a little fun.

This page includes a URL for an interactive computer simulation. The instructions on the page lead students through the simulation, gathering data and answer questions as they do.

This page includes a URL for an interactive computer simulation where we observe a person's energy as the skateboard on a half-pipe. The instructions on the page lead students through the simulation, gathering data and answering questions as they do.

***4.2 Conservation of Energy Example***
This quick half-sheet activity asks students to use a computer to search for an example of conservation of energy. They then draw a picture and write an explanation.

***4.2 Conservation of Energy Lab***
Students answer the question "What effect does increasing a cart's mass have on the percentage of energy dissipated as it travels down a ramp?" by loading masses onto a cart, measuring its velocity and starting height, and calculating potential energy and kinetic energy. This lab follows the scientific method as taught in Lesson 1.3.

***Recovery Quiz - Unit 4***
This short recovery quiz gives students an opportunity to recover from a poor test score. The quiz includes the most commonly-missed questions from my experience. I have all students take the quiz and give them 1/2 point per question back on their test score up to 100%.
