This is the fifth lecture PowerPoint for a yearlong chemistry lecture series. This lecture covers moles, molar mass, average atomic mass calculations, percent composition, empirical formula and molecular formula. It includes example problems, Quick Check! sections, NGSS standards, and objectives.
Along with the lecture, a student handout of fill in focus notes is included and goes along with the lecture. These fill in notes represent each slide, and include a space for students to write an essential question, questions as they go through the lecture, and a summary.
Use the Focus Notes poster/printable (located in the Poster/Printables section of the store) to enrich your students' note-taking experience and incorporate review and critical thinking into the process.
Each document is able to be modified.
