This resource is aligned with Fundations® Level 1 Second Edition.

There are several sheets to help students with the skills taught in Unit 9 Week 2.

All worksheets are focused on:
- Skill Words: Closed syllable words and vowel teams oi/oy
- Trick Words of the Week: see, between, each

Sheet 1: Hidden words - Students must find the skill words and trick words hidden in a picture and then sort them in the appropriate category.

Sheet 2: Trace, Color, Write - Students will trace their trick word, color in the correct letters that are used to spell the trick word, and then write their trick words.

Sheet 3: ABC Order - Students must correctly sort the 3 sets of 3 words into the correct order.

Sheet 4: Box Letters - Students will read the skill words and trick words then will correctly sort them into the right set of boxes. This helps students see the difference between sky line letters, plane line letters, grass line letters, and worm line letters.

Sheet 5: Trick Word Bubbles - Students will color, trace, and write their trick words. At the bottom they will practice writing their words with "funky" letters.

Sheet 6: Code Words - Students will use the code chart at the bottom of the page to correctly decipher each code that will spell out a trick word.

Sheet 7: Fill in the Blank - Students will use the word bank to fill in the sentences.

Sheet 8: Picture Match - Students will read the sentence and draw a picture to match what the sentence says.

Sheet 9: Pyramid Writing - Students will write each trick word one letter at a time.

Sheet 10: Word Search - Students will search for this week's words in a word search.

Sheet 11: Skill Sheet - Students will look at the picture and fill in the missing letters needed to spell the word.

Sheet 12: oy/oi Practice - Students will cut out the letters needed to spell the oy/oi word. Answers are provided on a separate sheet just in case!
