This was from a course I taught for several years called Fundamentals of Algebra and Geometry, with emphasis on the FUN! Creative presentations and activities help keep students engaged. All materials are numbered in the order I used them in class. Students were primarily 9th graders, though this can be used or adapted for grades 6-12. This unit lasted approximately three weeks with 80 minute classes.

(The preview shows a place-value dice game I created. I had dice with sides numbered 0-9, though you could use standard six-sided dice. I also found "place value" dice pretty cheap online. If you didn't want to purchase "place value" dice, you could create your own or just write place values on popsicle sticks and have students choose a popsicle stick rather than roll a die.)
